Tooth Colored Filling

Dental Veneers
dental veneersVeneering a tooth means to cover its facial (front) surface. Veneers are used to enhance the shape and color of teeth by closing spaces between teeth. Veneers may be used cosmetically to resurface teeth such as to make them appear straighter and possess a more aesthetically pleasing alignment. This may be a quick way to improve the appearance of malposed teeth without need to use orthodontics.

Dental Inlay & Onlay
dental inlay onlayThese dental restorations are indirect. They require two visits and fabrication by a dental laboratory. An inlay is similar to a filling and lies inside the cusp tips of the tooth. They are custom-made to fit the prepared cavity and are then cemented into place. An onlay is a more extensive reconstruction that covers one or more cusps of a tooth. Onlays are indicated in situations where a substantial reconstruction is required.

Dental Implants
dental implantDental implants are an option for the replacement of a missing tooth or teeth. Implants can support dentures. The most important aspect of dental implants is that they prevent bone loss. Implants are considered a permanent restoration and present a very natural appearance.

When you lose teeth, you inevitably lose bone mass in your jaw. This affects the overall appearance of your face which changes your profile and may cause the appearance of thin lips, drooping muscles, jowls or ‘witch's chin’. Dental implants are titanium cylinders that are inserted onto the jawbone in place of missing teeth. Then prosthetic restorations, like crowns, fixed bridges or dentures are attached to an abutment placed inside the implant.
